Space Cowboy Mushroom Tea

A personal project that started from the phrase “Space Cowboy”. I always loved the juxtaposition of space and cowboy and wanted to materialise it into a logo. A few scribbles later and I’d found a mark I was happy with. Combining an alien, a cowboy hat and a UFO. I’ve tried some of the mushroom tea powders in the past and after seeing the “M” that was created in the logomark, I thought Mushroom Tea would be a fun product to apply this fictional brand onto.

Through colourful illustrations and floating mushrooms, the benefits of all 4 types of mushroom powder are displayed. Possibly my favourite lightbulb moment was when I saw the portal shape I’d been drawing looked a lot like a lasso. Yet another comparison between cowboys and space. It serves as a consistent visual on the front of each powder pack, connecting the 4 products.
